A national professional trade association. NAPPS maintains a Pledge of Professional Conduct it expects all its members to follow in their businesses. Members must sign the Pledge when they join. NAPPS has developed a certification program for pet sitters that includes courses on establishing and running the business as well as properly handling the animals in their care.
